The AMPAC USA SW40K-LX Sea Water Desalination Watermaker is a high-capacity, land-based system that uses reverse osmosis to remove salt, minerals, and other impurities from seawater, producing potable water for a range of uses. Its production capacity of 40,000 gallons per day (150,000 liters per day, or 6.3 cubic meters per hour) is built for locations with significant daily water demand.
