The AMPAC USA SW3000-LX Sea Water Desalination Land Based Watermaker converts saltwater into potable freshwater for demanding marine and land-based applications, producing 3,000 gallons per day (11,350 liters per day). At sea, the SW3000-LX suits large boats, ships, and offshore support vessels such as PSVs, MPSVs, and AHTS vessels that need on-demand fresh water for crew and extended voyages, reducing reliance on resupply runs. Seawater passes through pre-treatment to remove sediment and contaminants, then through high-pressure reverse osmosis membranes that separate salt from water, before final post-treatment brings it to the required quality for direct use, all within a corrosion-resistant welded frame built for harsh marine environments.
