17 ranges to choose from

  1. Aerospace

    Aerospace

Aircraft manufacturing requires water with resistivity above 18 megohm-cm - a threshold only consistent RO/DI treatment reliably achieves.

    Models
    24
    Output
    800 – 100,000 GPD
  2. Food & Dairy

    Food & Dairy

Water touches every surface in a food and dairy processing facility - ingredient water, cleaning water, steam, cooling, and equipment rinse.

    Models
    27
    Output
    100 – 100,000 GPD
  3. Home & Office

    Home & Office

Drinking water quality varies dramatically between municipalities, and even city water that meets EPA standards can contain chlorine taste, lead from aging pipes, and disinfection byproducts that affect flavor.

    Models
    14
  4. Best Reverse Osmosis System for Hydroponics

Best Reverse Osmosis System for Hydroponics

Short answer: Hydroponic growers use reverse osmosis water so the nutrient recipe starts from a known baseline; the FAQ below puts the target at under 50 ppm TDS before nutrients are added.

    Models
    12
    Output
    800 – 20,000 GPD
  5. Military & Government

    Military & Government

Field operations, forward operating bases, and deployed naval vessels share the same constraint: they cannot rely on fixed water infrastructure.

    Models
    25
    Output
    500 – 100,000 GPD
  6. Ocean & Marine

    Ocean & Marine

A vessel's water supply sits entirely outside the municipal grid.

    Models
    35
  7. Oil & Gas

    Oil & Gas

Oil and gas operations consume water for drilling mud preparation, completion and hydraulic fracturing, steam-assisted recovery (SAGD), produced water management, process cooling, and staff consumption at remote field camps.

    Models
    7
    Output
    800 – 100,000 GPD
  8. Pharmaceutical

    Pharmaceutical

Pharmaceutical manufacturing uses water as both a raw ingredient and a critical cleaning agent.

    Models
    3
  9. Pilot Plant Testing Units

    Pilot Plant Testing Units

Scaling a water treatment process directly from bench theory to full-size plant is a risk most engineers aren't willing to take - and for good reason.

    Models
    5
    Output
    800 – 20,000 GPD
  10. Semi-Conductors

    Semi-Conductors

Semiconductor fabrication uses ultrapure water as both a process chemical and a cleaning agent at nearly every step - wafer washing, photolithography, chemical mechanical planarization, and final rinse before packaging.

    Models
    2
    Output
    10,000 GPD
  11. Energy

    Energy

Power generation facilities are among the largest water consumers in heavy industry.

    Models
    15
    Output
    2,200 – 100,000 GPD
  12. Mining

    Mining

Mining operations consume water at every stage of production - drilling, blasting, ore processing, dust suppression, and camp supply for workers in remote locations.

    Models
    15
    Output
    2,200 – 100,000 GPD
  13. Hotel, Resort & Community

    Hotel, Resort & Community

Short answer: A hotel or resort gets drinking water from a brackish well or from seawater with a reverse osmosis (RO) plant sized to its daily demand.

    Models
    28
    Output
    1,000 – 100,000 GPD
  14. Micro Breweries

    Micro Breweries

Water is the primary ingredient in beer - typically 90 to 95 percent of the finished product by volume - and its chemistry directly shapes flavor, mouthfeel, and consistency.

    Models
    17
    Output
    800 – 20,000 GPD
  15. Disaster Relief

    Disaster Relief

Short answer: For emergency drinking water, pick the unit by source water and by the number of people.

    Models
    9
    Output
    500 – 80,000 GPD
  16. Car Wash

    Car Wash

Short answer: A car wash gets a spot-free finish by using reverse osmosis water, below 10 ppm TDS and ideally under 5 ppm, for the final rinse.

    Models
    9
    Output
    1,500 – 20,000 GPD
  17. Portable Reverse Osmosis System for Hemodialysis

Portable Reverse Osmosis System for Hemodialysis

Short answer: Water for hemodialysis has to meet AAMI/ANSI 13959, which is stricter than drinking water, and the standard applies to the whole system: pretreatment, RO, storage and the distribution loop.

32 Years of Remarkable Experience

Ampac USA has provided high-quality water purification and reverse osmosis systems to the aerospace, marine and defense industries for many years. Our knowledge and deep understanding of strict quality guidelines adopted by these industries have enabled us to consistently satisfy our clients.

The aerospace industry requires ultrapure RO/DI water for the high-precision fabrication of aircraft components. Ampac USA's uncompromising approach to manufacturing and performance ensures that every RO/DI system consistently produces true ultrapure water at 18 megaohms of resistivity, even after years of operation. This consistency can be difficult to achieve if the components and build quality of an RO/DI system are subpar, and resistivity can fall below ultrapure requirements, unknown to end-users.
