Wholehouse Triple Big Blue BB3-20

The AMPAC USA Wholehouse Triple Big Blue BB3-20 provides three-stage filtration for your entire home, either as a stand-alone whole house system or as pre-treatment ahead of an existing reverse osmosis unit. By treating water at the point of entry, it helps protect plumbing, extend appliance life, and improve the water used for drinking, cooking, and bathing.

• Stage 1: 4" x 20" sediment filter (20-micron) removes sand, silt, rust, and scale
• Stage 2: 4" x 20" multimedia KDF-GAC filter reduces chlorine, lead, and mercury, and inhibits bacteria and algae growth
• Stage 2 (GAC): adsorbs organic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and odor-causing compounds
• Stage 3: 4" x 20" carbon block filter (10-micron) polishes water by removing remaining chlorine, VOCs, and microscopic impurities
• Housed in durable 4" x 20" Big Blue housings built for high flow rates

Water first passes through a 4" x 20" sediment filter rated at 20 microns, trapping larger particles like sand, silt, rust, and scale before they reach the later stages. It then flows through a 4" x 20" multimedia KDF-GAC filter: the KDF media reduces chlorine and heavy metals such as lead and mercury while inhibiting bacteria and algae growth, and the GAC component adsorbs organic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and compounds that cause unpleasant tastes and odors.

The final stage is a 4" x 20" carbon block filter rated at 10 microns, which polishes the water by removing any remaining chlorine, VOCs, and microscopic impurities that made it past the first two stages. Together, the three stages provide a significant reduction across a broad range of contaminants.
