Frequently Asked Questions

Common technical support questions answered by our engineers

How do I contact AMPAC USA technical support?
Call (909) 548-4900 Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM MST. For after-hours emergencies, email info@ampac1.com. Average response under 2 hours during business hours.
What warranty does AMPAC USA offer on water purification systems?
1-year limited warranty on all commercial and industrial RO systems covering defects in materials and workmanship. Membranes and consumables carry a 90-day warranty. Extended 2- or 3-year service contracts are available.
How do I order replacement RO membranes or spare parts?
Call (909) 548-4900 or email info@ampac1.com with your system model number and serial number. Most standard membranes, filters, and parts ship within 1–3 business days from our Woods Cross, Utah warehouse.
Why is my RO system producing low water output?
Most common causes: (1) Fouled or scaled membranes — need cleaning or replacement. (2) Feed water pressure below 40 PSI. (3) Clogged pre-filters — replace every 6–12 months. (4) Failing high-pressure pump. Check feed pressure and pre-filter condition first, then call (909) 548-4900 for a guided diagnostic.
Does AMPAC USA provide on-site installation and service?
Yes. On-site installation, commissioning, and service visits throughout the United States. For international installations, we provide detailed technical documentation and can coordinate with local service partners. Contact us for availability in your area.
How often should a commercial RO system be serviced?
Every 6–12 months depending on feed water quality and operating hours. Standard service: pre-filter replacement, membrane performance testing, pump inspection, chemical cleaning if flux decline exceeds 15%, and full system sanitization. High-TDS or turbid sources require more frequent service.
Where can I find manuals for my AMPAC water purification system?
Email info@ampac1.com with your system model and serial number. AMPAC USA maintains documentation archives for all systems manufactured since 1994 — including operation manuals, wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, and compliance certificates.
Can AMPAC USA upgrade or expand my existing system?
Yes. Our engineers assess existing systems and recommend upgrades: additional membrane stages, higher-capacity pumps, UV sterilization add-ons, remineralization, SCADA integration, or full capacity expansions. Contact us with your current system model and target output requirements.
