The AMPAC USA S10-5 is a standard 2.5-inch diameter x 10-inch melt-blown polypropylene sediment filter cartridge rated at 5 microns, designed for residential and light commercial water filtration. Compatible with all standard 10-inch filter housings and is the recommended pre-filtration stage for AMPAC USA 3-stage, 4-stage, and 5-stage residential RO systems.

Melt-blown polypropylene construction provides depth filtration throughout the entire cartridge body, trapping particles including dirt, sand, rust, and scale. Depth filtration distributes the particle load throughout the matrix, yielding high dirt-holding capacity and extended service life. The S10-5 protects downstream carbon filters and RO membranes from particulate fouling that reduces performance and shortens service life.
