The AMPAC USA Deionization (DI) Cartridge 10" removes dissolved ionic contaminants from water using ion-exchange resins, producing water that's virtually free of dissolved minerals and salts — often referred to as ultrapure water. Sized to fit standard 10-inch housings, it's designed as an easy add-on to existing water purification systems.

The cartridge works by using specialized ion-exchange resins to attract and bind positively charged ions (cations) and negatively charged ions (anions) from the water. Adding it downstream of a reverse osmosis system provides an additional layer of purification, further reducing dissolved solids beyond what RO membranes alone can achieve.
