A three-stage pre-filtration process removes larger particles, sediment, and other impurities that affect clarity and taste, while also protecting the RO membrane from premature fouling. A booster pump then raises water pressure enough to drive it through the membrane, where dissolved solids, chemicals, and microscopic impurities are filtered out, producing water at bottled quality.
