Pre-treatment starts with a sediment filter that removes particulate matter, followed by an activated carbon block filter that eliminates chlorine and chloramines before they can degrade the Thin Film Composite (TFC) membranes downstream. A booster pump keeps output pressure stable regardless of fluctuations in municipal water pressure, so performance stays consistent even where incoming pressure varies.
