The APRO-DI15 is AMPAC USA's advanced high purity water treatment system engineered to produce ultrapure water for demanding laboratory applications. This lab pure water system delivers type 1 ultrapure water (Type I water, 18.2 MΩ·cm) and type ii water through a multi-stage process: RO pre-treatment, ion exchange with exchange resin, and UV polishing. Meets ASTM type I water specifications for cell culture, HPLC, and critical analytical applications.
The APRO-DI15 is part of AMPAC USA's complete range of ultrapure water systems and lab water purification systems. Our high purity water system product line covers flow rates from bench-top to high-volume production. Typical feed water from tap water is pre-treated through the RO stage (reducing TDS by up to 99%) then polished by the DI stage to achieve resistivity of ≤0.1 cfu ml (low bioburden). Frequently Asked Questions
What water quality does the APRO DI-15 produce?
The APRO DI-15 delivers Type I ultrapure water at 18.2 MΩ·cm along with Type II water, meeting ASTM Type I specifications for applications such as cell culture, HPLC, and critical analytical work.
What treatment process does the APRO DI-15 use?
It combines reverse osmosis pre-treatment, ion exchange with exchange resin, and UV polishing in a multi-stage process, preceded by sediment pre-filtration and activated carbon and water softening modules.
What is the RO stage's contaminant rejection rate?
The reverse osmosis stage reduces total dissolved solids by up to 99%, with a nominal TDS rejection of 98-99% and nominal recovery of 50-65%, before the DI stage polishes the water further.
What electrical requirements does the APRO DI-15 have?
The system requires 240 VAC power, available in 1-phase or 3-phase configuration, at 50 or 60 Hz.
Is the APRO DI-15 suitable for laboratory applications beyond basic purification?
Yes. It's designed as a centralized purified water source for academic, medical, and research laboratory facilities, with a UV sterilizer and final 0.2-micron sub-micron filter to support demanding analytical applications.
