The AMPAC USA 20-Micron Sediment Filter 20" Big Blue (SED-20-BB) is a high-capacity jumbo sediment filter cartridge for Big Blue 4.5-inch x 20-inch filter housings, designed for whole-house pre-filtration and commercial RO pre-treatment. Reduces dirt, rust, sand, silt, and particulate matter from water without the use of wetting agents, solvents, antistatic agents, or binders, making it suitable for drinking water pre-treatment.

This cartridge is commonly used as the first pre-filtration stage in multi-stage RO systems and whole-house water treatment systems. The 20-micron stage captures coarse sediment particles, extending the service life of downstream 5-micron sediment stages and carbon block filters. Depth filtration through the cartridge body provides high dirt-holding capacity and consistent performance throughout service life.
