These places used either treated municipal water or individual well systems. They tested for bacteria, including fecal coliform and heterotrophic plate count (HPC), plus three potentially dangerous bacterial types: Mycobacterium, Legionella, and Helicobacter. All three were found in the drinking water systems on the Crow Reservation.<\/span><b>They detected opportunistic and truly dangerous species like Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium gordonae, Mycobacterium flavescens, Legionella pneumophila, and Helicobacter pylori.
